As a Brand Strategist reporting to the Brand & Campaigns Lead in our Creative & Community Global Marketing team, your purpose will be to help architect our brand narrative and the "Core Brief Builder" for our global campaigns. This isn't a passive role - you will be the bridge between real-world human stories and high-impact creative execution, ensuring the Booksy brand resonates everywhere it shows up. You are someone who is as comfortable finding human truths in a salon as they are presenting to marketing leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • The "Core Brief Builder": Author the foundational strategic briefs for global campaigns and GTM efforts. You will translate business goals into inspiring "north stars" for our creative teams.
  • Active Listening & Field Research: Go beyond the "research deck." You will conduct interviews and find insights in the "real places"—in salons, in barbershops, and in the rooms where our pros work. You’ll establish a regular cadence for connecting with our community outside of traditional project cycles.
  • Campaign & Creative Insights: Drive the insights that fuel our global work. You’ll partner with Creative Directors and Channel leads to ensure our content strategy is culturally relevant and strategically sound.
  • Research & Brand Tracking: Partner with the Research team to manage our brand tracker and interpret qualitative/quantitative data to monitor brand health.
  • Continuous Testing & Optimization: Conduct creative, message, and concept tests (via Meta and other tools) to see what sticks. You’ll use these "scrappy" experiments to inform how the brand evolves in the long term.
  • Creative Interpreter: Serve as the liaison between Marketing and Creative, championing the "why" and "how" of our approach while ensuring we maintain a cohesive visual and brand identity.

Salary range for this position is $75,000 - $112,000.

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you’re going to need…

  • Experience: 6-10 years in brand strategy (agency or brand-side), with a portfolio of large-scale, insight-driven campaigns.
  • The "Scrappy" Mindset: You don't need a massive agency budget to find an insight. You are proactive about talking to customers and finding "the story" in unconventional ways.
  • Master of the Brief: You can distill complex problems into a simple, one-page brief that makes creatives want to get to work immediately.
  • Data-Informed, Not Data-Led: You know how to use Meta testing tools and brand trackers to validate ideas, but you rely on your strategic intuition to create them.
  • Community-First: You genuinely enjoy people. You’re excited to spend time in the field, conducting interviews and listening to the entrepreneurs who use Booksy every day.
  • Global Navigator: Experience working across global markets and matrixed organizations is a huge plus.

Please note that while we are a remote-first company, this role will be based in the United States in the EST time zone.
