About the role:
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to join our growing Mid-Market sales team and help articulate the transformative impact of Botpress’ AI autonomous agents to prospective customers and partners. This role combines consultative selling, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to guide technical buying teams through complex evaluations.
As part of a rapidly growing platform with tens of thousands of monthly sign-ups, we’re looking for entrepreneurial AEs who can collaborate with our SDR team to capitalize on qualified pipeline, own deal execution end-to-end, and build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.
Based in Montreal, Canada (onsite), this role is for someone who:
- Champions customer needs: Builds trusted relationships, deeply understands business objectives, and sells through value and outcomes.
- Runs strong deal strategy: Creates clear mutual action plans, aligns stakeholders, and drives momentum through the sales process.
- Owns pipeline: Manages a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities and forecasts accurately.
- Embraces AI: Has a genuine interest in AI, autonomy, and the future of enterprise software.
- Thinks strategically: Understands how to land and expand accounts while supporting long-term growth.
- Executes with discipline: Enjoys building repeatable processes and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
In this capacity, you will:
- Own the full sales cycle for mid-market accounts, from discovery through close.
- Engage technical and business stakeholders to understand needs, map value, and position Botpress effectively.
- Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Partnerships, and Customer Success to run evaluations and drive successful outcomes.
- Consistently manage pipeline, activity, and forecasting in our CRM.
- Stay attuned to market trends in AI and automation to inform sales strategy and customer conversations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to strengthen our go-to-market engine.
- Represent Botpress externally as a credible, high-trust advisor and ambassador.
- Proven success in SaaS or PaaS sales, ideally within a product-centric environment.
- A consistent track record of hitting and exceeding quota (mid-market experience strongly preferred).
- Strong deal strategy skills — multi-stakeholder alignment, value articulation, and structured execution.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Comfort selling a technical product to technical teams, while also aligning business outcomes with senior leaders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
