We’re looking for a talented Payments Operation Specialist to join the Payments Operation team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end operational delivery of Guesty payment processing, ensuring onboarding, processing, settlements, and funding run reliably throughout the user lifecycle
  • Manage day-to-day payment operations, including monitoring processing accounts, transactions, payouts, balances, and data consistency across systems
  • Own and support reconciliation processes between Guesty and banking partners, ensuring accuracy of transactions, payouts, fees, and balances
  • Handle user cases and serve as an escalation point for operational issues, working directly with banking partners, vendors and internal teams to drive timely resolution
  • Design, implement, and optimize operational workflows, procedures, and automations to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Monitor operational KPIs and metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Guesty teams to align processes, support solution design, resolve dependencies, and enhance the overall user experience
  • Support payment-related add-ons, including onboarding, configuration, and ongoing operations
  • Support knowledge sharing by creating documentation, playbooks, and training materials for internal teams
  • Provide data-driven insights, reports, presentations and operational updates to the stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in online payments or relevant fintech roles, with hands-on involvement in payment processing and reconciliation workflows. Experience working with PSPs, orchestration platforms, gateways, or PayFac models is a strong advantage.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with ability to investigate issues, interpret data, and make data-driven decisions (Excel proficiency required)
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex operational and technical issues across multiple systems.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform routine tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Results-Driven: Strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes, with a proven ability to take ownership and drive tasks through to completion
  • Multitasking & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively without compromising quality
  • Communication & Coordination: Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and clearly convey complex information
  • Initiative & Ownership: Proactive, self-driven, and accountable, with the ability to take ownership and lead when needed.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to present complex ideas, insights, and data clearly and effectively to various stakeholders
  • Adaptability: Quick learner with a positive attitude, able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Team Player: Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
