Why this role exists
We’re hiring a Director of Operations to build the systems that make Ranger scale. We're scaling revenue while assembling three dynamic pillars at once: how we deliver (Customer Success + implementations), how we run our commercial engine (pods + pipeline discipline), and how we operate internally (AI-native workflows + documentation).
This role exists to turn founder context, lessons learned, and cutting-edge best practice into systems: playbooks, SOPs, dashboards, and operating rhythms, enabling scale without losing quality.
You will begin as an individual contributor, working directly with the co-founder to build the operating foundation hands-on.
What you'll own
Customer Success methodology Co-design and implement a stage-gated, enterprise-grade CS/implementation model. Define the methodology from PoC → phased launch → scale, with milestones, cadence, escalation, and quality standards. Convert it into SOPs a technical account manager can run independently. Build client-facing templates (status updates, QBRs, health checks, escalation protocols) and establish feedback loops into product and delivery.
Account Pods + commercial operating system Operationalize how we sell and deliver through clear workflows and shared accountability. Define how Account Pods coordinate across deal → delivery. Create pod handoffs, role definitions, and "definition of done" checkpoints. Drive pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline.
RevOps function Starting with foundations: CRM governance (stages, required fields, rules of engagement), pipeline reporting, forecasting cadence, dashboards, and commercial workflows that reduce confusion and increase conversion across the lead funnel, inbound/outbound.
Internal AI workflows optimization Make Ranger's internal execution AI-native and scalable. Build repeatable workflows that compress coordination overhead. Implement "visibility without narration" dashboards. Standardize documentation and handoffs so output quality doesn't depend on who is in the room.
Who you are
We are looking for a senior operator with the judgment, structure, and execution strength to build from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
- 10+ years building and operating systems in enterprise SaaS, implementations, business development, ops, or RevOps
- You've built playbooks from scratch, not just managed what existed
- Must be advanced in AI workflows (Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Perplexity, Gemini, etc)
- AI-native operator: you actively use AI tools to multiply your output, and you expect to with us
- Strong enterprise fluency and executive presence (you'll be client-facing regularly)
- Comfortable in ambiguity, but you create clarity fast
- Documentation discipline is part of your identity, "if it isn't written, it doesn't exist"
- You have an organic network within the industrial/tech sector with successful collaborations
Location
Abu Dhabi/Dubai-based only. Remote-first day-to-day, with frequent client visits and in-person working sessions with the co-founder and team in the UAE.
