As we continue to advance our AI solutions we are looking for an Enterprise Business Development Lead to spearhead the evolution of high-value enterprise pipeline opportunities. This individual will be singularly focused on building qualified enterprise new logo pipeline in partnership with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and the Marketing team to ensure the business enters each year with a strong revenue trajectory.
The Enterprise Business Development Lead works as an overlay resource across multiple enterprise territories, directly targeting strategic accounts, building contextual value-based messaging, brokering executive stakeholder conversations, and deploying high-impact outreach campaigns.
What you'll do:
- Drive Enterprise New Logo pipeline generation ensuring strong qualified pipeline for 2026 and beyond.
- Actively and consistently prospect and qualify opportunities in alignment with Ideal Customer Profile.
- Build and execute account-based strategies to engage decision-makers and influencers early in the sales cycle.
- Partner with Enterprise AEs to develop target account plans and outreach sequences.
- Lead weekly pipeline review sessions to track progress and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Share market insights, account intelligence, and competitive positioning with the AE team and leadership for strategic planning.
- Work with AEs, Marketing, and 3rd-party content providers to create multi-touch, high-impact cadences.
- Develop multi-threaded, multi-level messaging to build executive alignment and secure internal champions.
- Continuously refine campaigns based on performance data, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Generate a documented, repeatable pipe generation playbook for future scaling.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure reporting accuracy and pipeline visibility.
- Maintain intimate knowledge of RouteThis products, value propositions, and competitive differentiators.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of enterprise SaaS experience in a business development, pipeline generation, or sales role.
- Demonstrated success in building multi-million dollar qualified pipeline.
- Expertise in account-based selling and enterprise prospecting methodologies.
- Proven ability to engage senior decision-makers (VP & C-level) through multi-channel outreach.
- Exemplary project management and organizational skills.
- Hunter mindset with creativity in opening doors.
- Experience working in an overlay sales role supporting multiple AEs.
- Aptitude with sales enablement tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Background in high-growth start-up or scale-up environments.
Package Overview:
This role offers a base salary range of $86,000 - $136,000 CAD.
In addition, this position includes a generous commission structure with significant earning potential for high performers.
