What You’ll Do:
As a growing startup, we're looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst who has a passion for quality and delivering exceptional software experiences. You bring demonstrated testing capabilities, exceptional analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. You have the experience to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and deliver successful outcomes for our customers.
In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to establish testing standards, create comprehensive test plans, and ensure the quality of Nue's platform and customer implementations. You'll champion a "shift left" approach to quality, embedding QA practices early in the development lifecycle and empowering project teams to build quality in from the start. You'll act as a quality advocate, fostering a culture of quality ownership across teams, helping to prevent defects before they occur, and ensuring every release meets our commitment to excellence.

What You'll Be Working On
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive QA processes, testing frameworks, and quality standards from the ground up.
- Collaborate with project teams during requirements gathering, design reviews, and sprint planning to identify and prevent potential defects early.
- Establish quality gates and acceptance criteria at each phase of the project lifecycle to ensure disciplined quality practices across all teams.
- Coach and mentor project team members on quality best practices, testing techniques, and defect prevention strategies.
- Conduct design reviews and provide early feedback on technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify quality risks before development begins.
- Perform functional testing of Nue's platform features, configurations, and customizations to ensure they meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute data migration testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and completeness during customer implementations and system upgrades.
- Conduct integration testing between Nue and external systems (CRM, ERP, financial systems) to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test scenarios, coordinating with customers and stakeholders, and managing defect resolution.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes and root cause analysis.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features and fixes don't negatively impact existing functionality.
- Document testing processes, standards, and best practices to build a knowledge base for the team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in QA/testing roles in SaaS or enterprise software environments.
- Prior experience working within the Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) space including knowledge of CPQ, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
- Strong functional testing experience with ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with data migration testing including data validation, transformation testing, and reconciliation.
- Solid integration testing experience, including API testing using tools like Postman, REST clients, or similar.
- Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries for data validation and testing purposes.
- Scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for test automation and data manipulation.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks (JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, or similar).
- Understanding of Salesforce platform and its testing considerations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the QA function in a startup environment.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills with ability to influence teams and drive quality discipline across the organization.
- Experience facilitating design reviews, requirement discussions, and quality workshops.
- Ability to clearly document issues and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
